I'm getting Samsung 840 SSD for 2008 MBP. Do I need mounting bracket?

    Hi there,
I apologize in advance for a question to which I already suspect I have the answer. I want to know for sure, though, because if I don't order a mounting bracket and then find out I DO need one, it'll take twice as long and I'll end up paying for shipping twice as well.
I'm getting a Samsung 840 series SSD to go inside my mid-2008 MacBook Pro, to replace a failing internal hard drive.
Do I also need the Bytecc Bracket (Internal Mounting Kit) to "convert 3.5" bay to 2 x 2.5" bays for 2.5" hard drives".
    Just want to make sure.
Also: is this a drive (and bracket, if needed) that the average user can install himself? I've added lots of drives to my Mac Pro, but never my MacBook Pro.
Thanks for your advice, and happy new year to all of you...

You don't need a bracket. The Samsung SSD is a 2.5" drive just like the factory installed hard drive in your Macbook Pro.
