iPod touch I'm glad I got rid of my iTouch

I was seriously considering smashing my iPod Touch to pieces-- just so I would never visit the forums, and hence read "IToUcH" again. :D

I tried out my friend's iPhone for a bit, and I have to say the only thing I like over the iPod Touch is the mobile internet (even though it was so slow!). I have a regular (cheaper) phone and I don't need a camera, but that's just me.

I hope you like your i[TOucH FoNe]Phone as much as you seemed to like the Touch when you were on the forums before!

I live in New Hampshire in a small town with a small population. I doubt someone's gonna mug me so that THEY can pay $59 a month... that's just dumb.
 
iPod Touch owners are the red headed step children of the ipod/mp3 world. It's for those who like to carry around cell phone, mp3 players, all at once, iPod touch owners have big pockets, to carry around all the other crap the device leaves out....and dont come back with the line, well you pay thousands of dollars, blah blah blah, truth is any cell phone you buy is going to cost you money long term.

Maybe some people are happy with their cell phones, maybe they own a blackberry and also like the touch. What do you think about people who own a nano and a cell phone? Seems like that's basically the same position, but with an iPod that's not as nice.

I agree, I have a nextel I need for work (no way around it) and although I would love an iPhone, it doesn't seem practical for me right now (I refuse to carry 2 phones). Therefore, the touch is looking pretty attractive to me. I am still rockin' my 6gb Mini and it's still going strong but I think I am going to pass it on to a family member or friend. I definately want more room, touch screen is nice, but what I'm really interested in is the wifi. Nowadays, wifi is all over the place, why pay an iPhone bill when I can mooch off wifi? I am trying to hold off until I see this redesign everybody's whispering about... :)

LOL. No criminal is going to ask you what price plan you're on though! They'll just take it and stick it on ebay with some lies about it being unlocked or something.

How about people like me who's ipod never leaves the house and just has a PAYG mobile in their pocket?
 
There is nothing wrong with calling an ipod touch a itouch. its like saying an organism that stands vertically in place with roots and uses the process of photosynthesis to create food should not be called a tree because the word tree sounds ugly.

Yes, there is a problem. It is just wrong. It sends shivers down my spine. It gives me nightmares. Anyone who owns a touch knows this feeling.

You know, some people don't want or need cellphones. I would rather save the money then constantly be bothered by phone calls.
