Apple usually ships items in 2 days. They usually start shipping a few days before launch, and there's no movement on Sundays. Unless they start shipping today (which is extremely unlikely), there's going to be no updates until early next week.

I just want my date to change!

Ordered at 8:01am and got confirmation through the same minute, yet I still have the dreaded

Processing Items Delivers: 24/4-8/5 by Standard Shipping

Definitely better than May or June though! :D

I feel your pain. I ordered the minute it went on sale and got a 4-6 week estimate. But we won't find out if it changes until early next week.

The date isn't going to change. At some point your order status will switch from Processing Items to Preparing for Shipment. That is really the only indication you'll get that anything is happening.

When I ordered my iMac last year, it was in stock and ready to ship. Even then I was given a four day window and not a firm shipping date.

Very few companies give out exact shipping/arrival dates. There are too many variables outside their control.

Not coming from China dude. That's only for orders staged in the US

Same here, hope it ships before the May 13-27 date quoted. I've gotten every iPhone since the original through iPhone 6 (no 5c) on launch day, and thought for sure ordering it 4 minutes after the store came back up, I'd get it on April 24. Starting to get impatient, lol.

When the iPhone 5S came out, it shipped from China and depending on the speed of shipping, the order status would change anywhere between Sunday and Tuesday.

My iPhone 5S order status changed the Sunday prior to launch day.

My wife, who got the 7-10 day shipping window at the time, had her status change 2 days before we received it. Hers came from Kentucky, mine came from China.

The change of status all depends on where it ships from, at least based on past experiences

These could be coming from warehouses in the country of delivery, rather than individually from China.

Anyway, your credibility is shot after you claimed that everyones statuses were going to change yesterday, but they didn't.....

I've had my iPhone/iPad ship a week early from China. I've also had my iPhone ship on Thursday from Louisville. Yes, a day before launch date. That's almost certainly going to happen this time around as well. And people will almost certainly freak out again. People just need to learn to be patient and trust that Apple's system is right. And Apple's system is just about always right.

Not true. It is Monday in China. Things can start happening at any time. Should start seeing credit card charges post Monday in the U.S.

That's providing they're going to customers direct from China. They could be going from warehouses in the U.S. and other countries, to the customer. We've had it before with iPhone & iPad launches. Which case means could not see charges until Wednesday.

I rarely check my own order at Apple. I just check macrumors or the forums once a day. If any order is getting close to shipping, it will be repeated 1000x times here. :)

its monday here in australia :)

Same here man! Aussies for life :)

Look my guess is that there are Apple Watches sitting in warehouses in every launch country and that the shipping update will be a "controlled shipping update" from Apple either straight out changing the delivery date to the 24th exactly or even the 27th or 28th. Of course they'll won't be enough AWs to do this for all first batch customers so some with have to wait a little longer still in my opinion.

Other than that, I'm looking forward to using Apple Watch at school as early as next Monday..
