I'm running iOS11 beta on my 6 and I don't really have any major performance issues myself. Have you tried resetting the whole thing?

Ive noticed with ios10 my 6S is becoming slow and unresponsive quite a lot when there is less than 2GBs of free space left. Probably this has to do with paging the ram. After I clear some space it behaves normally until it fills up again. Check your space, maybe it is becoming full as well. Also try to delete apps that have big internal data, like photo apps that save the picture files in them and not in the library. I have Lightroom installed and it is over 14 GB big and everytime I open it my phone lags a bit after I close it.

Guys no its not about just getting a better phone. There are a few apps that run only with an iPhone 6 with iOS 9 that I need for work. But yes, its also slow as hell and I have done all of the restores etc.

Apple doesn't support downgrading iOS.

Your work is almost two software iterations behind now. Sounds like they don’t take technology seriously in your line of work.

I'm not worried about Apple, my phone so I can do what I want with it.

It simply doesn't work when Apple stops signing older iOS version, the latest one that is signed is 10.3.3. You can't install any older version even if you have the IPSW file.

Apple has stopped signing iOS 9 for iPhone 6 long ago, so you're stuck with 10 and above.

1) Buy an iPhone 4S if you want to use iOS 9 apps.
2) Switch to a different/equivalent app and/or tell the developer to update the app to support newer OS

There are no longer signed ipsw versions of iOS 9. It’s gone for good. You can not downgrade your iPhone 6. If I may, what apps specifically require iOS 9 and have not been updated to support iOS 10?

There are hacks and jailbreaks all over the internet. People are doing it.

Any method from Jailbreaking and Hacking requires a Signed firmware IPSW or your original SHSH Blob. Neither of which you can acquire now. Your iOS 9 downgrade window has closed a while ago.
If you need assistance addressing the concerns of your iPhone 6 running slow, we actually are capable of helping you with that.

you can, just not under Apple's rules.
You don’t seem to understand what we mean by Signed Firmware. Jailbreaking permits root access to iOS, allowing the downloading and installation of additional applications, extensions, and themes that are unavailable through the official Apple App Store. It does not sign the Firmwares during installation.
All IPSW versions of iOS whether Jailbroken or Legal checks with Apple’s servers to determine approval. IOS 9 is no longer approved and will not continue installation. There’s no bypassing this. That’s why Jailbreakers always wait on older versions of iOS.

Wasteland, please.

The window to downgrade back was ~1 year (give or take) ago so unfortunately you are out of options.
Suggest you tell the company you’re working for to update their app. Or if it’s a publicly available app(s) to find a suitable replacement.

you can, just not under Apple's rules.
No matter how hard you want it to be possible it simply can’t be done.

Best of luck.

As others have stated, you cannot return to iOS 9 on any Apple device. If you don't believe this, call Apple and ask them. They will tell you the same thing.

What is the point of creating a thread and asking the question, if you aren't willing to heed the truth given?

Stop wasting everyone's time with your stubbornness. You are wrong. Not the end of the world. Time to move on to other subjects.

This has nothing to do with Apple.

This has nothing to do with Apple.
It has everything to do with Apple. Without Apple, no iOS can be installed and used, whether it is the stock OS or jail break based.

There is no hack, that will allow you to download, install and use iOS 9 on any of your iOS devices. That is a fact.

If you don't want to talk to the people responsible, do a Google search. You will see the same facts that people here have stated.

If you persist with telling everyone that replies they are wrong, the mods may consider you doing nothing more than trolling the forum, which would not be good.
