I'm not liking the back 'button'/link change in iOS 10

I frequently open apps via search because it's so quick to just swipe down on the screen find a recently used app and launch it. In iOS 9 this didn't create a back 'button'/link on the status bar. This has been changed in iOS 10 and I don't like it. It's one thing when clicking something in one app takes you to another app. In that case you do probably want to be able to quickly go back to where you came from. But search? Why? I don't need to see that I opened an app from search.

I am glad though that the back link no longer covers up the cellular and wifi logos. So they got that right at least.

I don't like any of the back-to-xxxx links. Am I actually in the app, or just Mail's invocation of Safari, etc? It's needless confusion, the app switcher works fine for this task.

I don't mind it when you're in one app and get taken to another but it's not necessary when you use the search feature!

I agree with you, finally it shows the Signal and the Network type (4G,3G,2G). I dind't noticed that about search. It's stupid.
