Long story short, I got the phone two weeks ago and I can't hear anything out of the earpiece.. I called and the applecare specialist had me reset my settings and it still didn't work.. The next step is to restore, so I am having them call me on my wife's phone when I get off work to troubleshoot one more time.
She said if it didn't work I can get a replacement overnight shipped to me, but I may go to my nearest Apple Store (45 min. away) to look at the phone prior to leaving (worried about scuffs and quality).
Is it stupid to go to the Apple Store? Should I chance it and let them ship me one?
