Yes but I don’t want a single scratch on my iPhone 😂
After receiving the iPhone real OCD kicks in
I can’t laugh at you. When I got the iPhone X, which I kept only a month then went back to the 8 Plus, I didn’t just put a glass protector on the back. I put the whole thing into an Otterbox case. A fugly otterbox case. It felt like a rock.
Do you ever look back on something you’ve done and ask yourself not only “What was I thinking?” But “Who was that crazy person?”
For what it’s worth, the light colored phones show through really well in clear cases. Dark colored phones, not so much because of how the light reflects so much off the case you see the case more than the phone. But with the light phone it’s not a problem.
So if you want to see your Sierra blue but not leave it unprotected, clear cases should work fine.
My gold 12 Pro Max is in the Casekoo clear case from Amazon. I can see the gold sides very well. The back is really clearly visible.
It’s what I’m getting for my Sierra blue 12 Pro (yeah okay you knew I was gonna come around. You called it!).
I used to swear by Caudable Lucid clear cases because I had them on the iPhone XR and 11 Pro and they were very protective and looked barely there (on light colors).
But when we got them last year for my 12 Pro and my daughter’s 12 Pro, there were fit problems on them and the replacements we were sent. It was a hard case to put on and take off and the defective one scratched my daughter’s phone.
Caudabe did give us codes for 50% off future purchase which I’m still using. Their customer service is good and their other cases have been great on Samsung and iPhone.
I may give their Lucid clear another chance someday because my kid did drop an iPhone XR down a flight of concrete steps and there was not a scratch on the phone!
edit: there were some weird formatting issues with my post. That first line was also from your quote.
