Got the iPhone 5 today, is anyone else not keen on it. I went out with some of the guys from work tonight and felt kind of embarrassed, it's so long, I'm really thinking about going back to the 4s.

Stop worrying about what other people think, especially about your material things.
Don't get me wrong, visually it stunning, I love the colour contrast, just looks so long, and uncomfortable to use.
No phone is perfect.
Apples great self inflicted challenge, is the unreasonably high expectations set by it's marketing practices.
That's why many buyers either pick it apart, expect perfection, or repeatedly return / exchange them.

Really so long ? Have you not seen the Android phones that are longer, wider at all ?
How is the op surprised it's longer than the 4s. People must just blindly buy new ish without knowing the differences. People don't read or view comparison pics?
Or the OP buys the phone knowing it's longer and is upset its to long?

Didn't say that at all. Read the post again. If he thinks the iphone 5 is longer and embarrassing than take a look ( Not buy ) at the Android phones. Got it ? No where did I say he should go back to anything...
FedEx delivered my iPhone 5 today. I like the thinner grip in hand. The Droid X always felt too wide while gripping. That's just me though. Haven't activated the phone yet but I like how it feels thus far.
I didn't say you did. My point was he feels the new iPhone is too long so he's going back to the shorter 4s. He never mentioned an android device, you did. Why would he want to look at a bigger phone when the new one he has is too big? Read his post again.
