I'm Screwed!...

Literally, I have the MB UB late 2008 version and I wanted to swap the hard drive for an SSD. I'm sure I used the right screwdriver, anyway I've wrecked the screw and have tried everything to remove it 🙁

Called Apple Care and the rep was sympathetic, taking it to the store tomorrow as it's my day off. I don't have an appointment as they're all full. Hope they take a look at it for me.

I feel so incompetent!

i hope that the apple store employees are as sympathetic as the apple care rep. you should've gotten some sort of reference from the applecare person to make things go smoother.

He gave me a case reference and said to tell them you followed the apple guide and it didn't work
