i'm with you man.

and imagine how much we hate the iphone when somebody crashes his car into ours because he was distracted by flipping through coverflow......

i'm already looking for a good shrink because we will hear about the iphone for the next 6 month. and i'm already afraid of the "i'm dissapointed with the iphone" threads.

and then my girlfriend: she was traveling and working a lot recently so i could shield her from iphone info's. as soon as she see's it she will want one and then i'm SOL.

oh man the world will end just because of a damn phone.....there is nothing left to live for.....

but wait, isn't there this new imac design coming up? and the 13 inch MBP? and iwork/ilife? maybe i can go on!😀

Probably, but I'm more annoyed at the talentless critics that try to tell everyone else their opinion on everything.

You shouldn't hate them, feel sorry for them. Because without this last skill, they'd probably be asking you for "spare change."

Voicemail is very necessary. "They'll call back if it's important"? Well they've called once before and you managed to miss it. You don't think that can happen multiple times? And what if it was an important call from an "Uknown Number"?

There are probably lots of Apple fans that don't care about or like the iPhone. But this section of the forum is for talking about the iPhone because people are into it. You wouldn't go to church just to talk about how much you hate Jesus.
 
The disdain I have for the iPhone is only eclipsed by the disdain I have for people complaining about people caring about the iPhone.


Though I too would like to see more rumours concerning media access control.

My point was that you wouldn't go somewhere where something is accepted or favored to just put it down. For example, coming to the iPhone forum just to bash the iPhone or my other example of going to church to put down Jesus.

Or my new favorite example - You shouldn't go to the White House just to make fun of retards. If you don't like retards, just don't go to the White House. 🙂

or don't go to parliament and criticize the government policies, or don't go into research labs and question past studies ...

I know its popular and I myself may buy one at some stage, but I'm just sick of iphone iphone iphone!
arggghhh get over it, its a smart phone with some cool features i'm so bored of reading iphone articles, now ok ok

I don't have to read them, but its not like macrumors has much else these days now is it.

And also the damned iphone has delayed leopard...

dont even get me started on that..

i might go to sleep til leopard gets released lol (hibernate 😀 )

I'm another apple fanboy who doesn't care about iPhone. The 40% of my rss feeds talks about iPhone. every site i stumble on daily talks about iphone. youtube is full of iphones. *-_-*
I don't hate it, i think it will change the cellphones market, it's nice, cool, 4GB memory ok ok ok.. but i don't need one =) with some bucks more than 499€, I'd buy a nice mac mini to use as media server =) f*ck iphone =) apple macs are more cute =)

my 2 cents.
 
No you're not the only one. And you're not the only one who likes to waste time posting about how much they hate it as well.
 
I dont "hate" iPhone. I think its a great device. Its just "too many strings attached" for now. I will wait a little. Everything is cool except of that SIM lock issue. I hate that 😛

Ok, I'm really sorry to all iPhone owners, but I am so sick to death of hearing about this thing. I'm sure it's absolutely 'insanely great', but I really wish all the news and hype about it would stop now....

Apple have become obsessed with this, and while I appreciate their efforts at producing the world's greatest smartphone, I wish they'd get back to Macs and iPods right now. Y'see, I'm busting to buy one of the new iMacs, and I'm pretty sure they would be out by now, if it weren't for the iPhone. Same goes for Leopard. I'm starting to resent the shiny, little multitouch ba$tard.

Steve, if your reading this (probably not), please stop the hype. It's out. It's great. Your a great guy....the jeans and black polo necks really work for you. Your Windows/M$ bashing comments are second to none....but please let's move on! 🙂
 
I guarantee you that Apple is NOT slowing down production of Mac and OS X because they have the spotlight on the phone world right now. OS X multi-tasks very well. So does Apple.

I'm just sitting back in amazement at how much hype the iPhone has brought in, and, after playing with one for about 10 mins is all, I'm sold on the darn thing too.
