Go for a run, works for me... Raises body temperature, kills bacteria. Then when you puke in someone's driveway, nice gift for them and more bacteria out of your system. Then go home take some medicine or a shot of nice strong good stuff. Then go to work, feeling sore, but a little better.

    Nothing beats rest.

I recommend hot green tea to go, Vitamin C Tablets, Airborne and Dayquil (non-drowsy).

Feel the satisfaction of spreading your germs :p

Nurofen and a liquid decongestant should be effective for the rest...

Dribbling works better than either IMO, as well as endeavouring to increase the goo content and reach of your sneezes.

Lots of orange juice and other liquids usually help a bit.

I would guess you would get more germs by licking computer mice than you would spread cold germs. Many many people do not know to wash their hands after using the bathroom. I see co-workers walk right out of the bathroom all the time, it's so gross. I want to walk over and say "What the frak is wrong with you?!" However I don't want to get fired, sigh.

Go to work and get everyone else sick, it will give you a feeling of retribution.

Seriously.....medication. Just take lots of it, but nothing that will make you drowsy. Also, I guess you could try running. There's a chance you may faint, but just don't wear anything embarrassing and you'll be OK.

Heck, I see someone in my department walk out without washing sometimes. If I do, I yell out real loud "hey M***! You forgot to wash your hands after touching yourself!" He gets real red faced, but still doesn't always wash. He's getting better, probably more out of fear that I'll keep pointing him out.

I'm sick today, and at work. I don't have much choice, I'm the only one here today and someone has to fix these stupid computers.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm still feeling lousy, actually worse than before and tomorrow I have to go to work again. :(

Cold and flu tablets anjinhamarota. But only those with pseudoephedrine in them. Take them regularly and keep yourself hydrated. Make sure you get as much sleep as you can - the "night" cold and flu tablets will help you sleep. It will of course be over in a few days.

edit: The running suggestion won't likely do anything - it certainly won't "heat" your body up and kill bacteria. That's what fevers are for. Vitamin C won't do anything as you're likely already getting enough in your normal diet. Airborne is a scam don't waste your money.
