Staying at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort, for a three-day Microsoft Conference (in my case, specifically for SharePoint Connections, but there's also ASP, Visual Studio and SQL Server conferences here at the same time). Surrounded by Microsoft fanboys...am I the only Mac guy here? I can feel them eyeballing my Mac as they walk by 😉

I did just see some dude walk by with an "SFbags" bag, and I know they're big on Mac stuff...but he didn't take his laptop out. Maybe I'm not the lone Mac dude 😉

Try living in Redmond. This is a daily occurance if you take your computer to a local place. I swear people think I am Devil.
 
Have your sound set to the loudest and start your computer when it's quiet in a room full of people. 😀
 
Just be prepared to pwn them.

I've done stuff like connect to Windows domains and sign on with my Active Directory account. Just prepare things for any anti-Mac propoganda they may have. Then you can pwn them and make them look like total idiots if they rag you.

I doubt they will though; they're just jealous of your Mac 🙂 Look for other Mac users you can stick with.

I'm looking forward to this conference regardless...should learn a lot of interesting stuff! I just wish I could get the hotel's wireless to work from my room...right now I'm on my Blackberry which works, just slooooooow.

Can't believe that several years ago I considered that it would be great working for Micro$oft as a Graphic Designer.

have friends who work through a temp agency. Seems M$ hires that way alot. One friend's co-workers bring in beer and wine all the time, even kegs now and again.
