Really? It's people like you why I cannot wait to move out of the US to a country that does not allow guns to be sold so easily.

To get this back on track, there's been probably 10 or so threads on this topic, the general consensus is that it doesn't matter what gender you are, if you like the color then buy it.

I mostly appreciate when people say this because they seem to have some sort of delusion that the guns owned by private citizens somehow or another would protect them from modern military forces... or that countries with limited to no gun ownership somehow miraculously have no rights that we are afforded in the United States.

I'm all for responsible gun ownership (along with other things that some other gun owners dislike such as mandatory safety classes, mandatory registrations, background checks, etc...) - I personally own guns, but I don't for one second delude myself into thinking that they protect me or my rights from the government.

Where I come from we call people who believe that they still do "crazy bunker uncles" for a reason... mostly because we all have a crazy uncle who has a bunker/stockpile of guns and believes this... and they're also usually the type that thinks that their "monitoring" is what kept Obama from using the military to seize all their guns earlier this year. Our government is a little bit more benevolent than you think. #Obama2016
