    Hi,

Just a very quick question... what is the maximum amount of RAM I can fir in my 24 inch core 2 duo. Both slots have 1 GB 667 Mhz DDR@ SDRAM at the moment.

    Thanks.

1x2GB + 1x4GB would give you 6GB (Apple officially says 4GB max but 6GB is reported to work).

Officially 4 GB, however it should support 6 GB.

Any recommendations for a brand of RAM so that I can get a 4 + 2?

I have the exact same iMac as you. I just bought my RAM from Amazon. Make sure it's the exact same specs as the stuff currently in your iMac. I believe the brand was Crucial.
