iMac 20" TN panel improved or upgraded to better one?

Hi,

anybody knows if the TN panels of the 20" iMac has been improved since it was first released last august or if it will be improved in the short term?
I'm talking about 6bit color depth and gradient issues.

Are the imac 20 inch alu now TN 6 bit?

I've got one today (which is being replaced) - really bad quality, uneven, bad viewing angle, backlight bleed.... etc.

Much worse than my previous 2.16 plastic imac.
