A few days ago I deleted everything off my iMac running os 10. now, when it boots it goes to a few options such as install os ect. When I try and install the os it says there was a problem and to try again later. I think this is because this os is no longer on the app store. I try to make a bootable dvd, and it didn't work. I really need help with this.

    Thanks!!:)

I'd also strongly suggest to install the OS from CD

For copying Lion DVD I'm pretty sure you need a dual layer DVD.
