    Hello

I would really appreciate if anyone could help.

I have two faulty iMac, one is 2010 27”
    One is 2011 27”

The 2010 has faulty hard drive (? On bootup)

2011 has a faulty logic board

Can I take the hard drive from the 2011 and put it In the 2010?

Or take the logic board from the 2010 and put it In 2011?

Are either of these jobs doable? Without buying spares? Thanks so much

The "?" on bootup might mean the drive has had a hardware failure... or it might not.

What that means is that the computer can't locate a valid system from which to boot.
It could just be "bad software" (and the drive is still ok, hardware-wise).

When you press the power-on button on the 2010, do you hear the hard drive spin up inside?
Do you hear any strange noises, as well?
Or... does it spin up and just "sound normal"?

Yes no problem at all macOS should detect the change of Hardware automatically along with the identification of the Mac
