hey guys, my imac's 27inch backlight is not working anymore.
The graphic card seems to be okay because if I connect an external monitor everything seems to work.
Using a flashlight I can see that the screen is working because I can see the desktop without the backlight.
Diagnostic LEDs 1,2,3,4 are on. So I am not sure if the inverter is bad or the screen. Anyway to test the inverter? I read somewhere that a specific pin on the inverter should be around a specific voltage to turn on the screen. Please help 🙂 thanks
