How fast does your new iMac boot and shutdown 🙂

Mine takes about 16-18 secs to startup and 12 seconds to shutdown.

Specs : 21.5 2013 iMac, 8GB RAM, 1 TB Fusion

Mine takes the same to startup (obviously if I Sleep my iMac its on the desktop pretty much instantly).

Shutdown times, from my experience, seem to be longer if I have been putting my iMac to Sleep for a period of time, rather than Shutting down. Although I haven't timed my Shutdown time, I would say pretty much the same as yours.

on Win 8.1 - 9.5 seconds

Core i7 3.5GHZ - 32GB RAM - 512 SSD
