I received my new iMac 27" (i5 / 580 / SSD 512GB) two weeks ago.

After the initial setup, I notice that the iMac was making an high pitch noise intermittently.

Retuning the iMac, I get a new iMac 27" (i5 / 580 / SSD 1TB) today and it has same issue.

Does anybody has a high pitch noise problem?

I'm considering a second replacement order.

I bought my 5K iMac in early 2018 and it has started making a high pitched noise randomly in the past couple of weeks.

It happens once every couple of days and lasts about a minute. It comes from the bottom right corner. Not sure if it's from the speaker or some internal component.

I'm 100% sure this didn't happen before as I have good hearing and work with audio.

Anyone had luck solving this? Was Apple able to fix it?
