Hello, frens.

Could I use something like this to "upgrade" my old 2017 iMac to wi-fi 6? I have a wi-fi 6 router routing my internet connection and my home network already, of course.

Link not work for me but I don’t think there are any WiFi 6 USB adapters which work with macOS. No drivers.

Are you curious whether you can config this router in bridge mode or repeater mode and connect your iMac via ethernet to router? Yes. I actually own this device and use it when I travel. The product documentation is very good.

I'd have to use a 2,5Gbit ethernet via USB adapter and then configure the Beryl AX to "catch" the wi-fi from the GL.iNet Flint 2 I'm using for wi-fi already.

But it's probably too high a price and too much bother for a relatively small reward. It's only a 1000/1000 connection anyway, and I don't transfer files locally that often anyway.

I thank you for your time.
