Hi, I have the 20'' imac from '07 from a friend that said the problem were the rams, i switched the rams and the imac continues black screen and the fan working very loud. i can hear the mac song when boot up and i cleared the pram and pugged a external hard drive and it was running. Is there any chances that is not from the gpu or logic board? Thank you ! (Sorry for the bad english)

I think it's the obvious: your screen is shot. Probably not worth repairing at this point.
