Hi guys, I bought an iMac from Comet (in the UK) in October. It's the latest model of the 21 inch iMac, though the cheapest spec. Firstly, I absolutely adore it. It's the best computer I've ever owned and it's doing things I never even knew I'd be able to do! The GarageBand/iWeb software is just superb. Anyway, since having it for the past few months, I've noticed some little imperfections emerge in the screen. It's odd - they almost look like little bubble below the surface of the glass. They're not immediately noticeable when the screen is on, but they are apparent when it is turned off. Does anyone know what the procedure is for doing something about this - given that it was purchased from Comet? Do I make a Genius Bar appointment, or is it for Comet to do something about it? ...or if anyone recognises this odd imperfection - is there anything I can do myself to sort it out, without the need to take the computer anywhere? Any help greatly appreciated!
