Mine is faulty, Apple refuse to supply me one because the warranty is over and they said they cannot simply sell me one.

What do I do now other than risk a used one for £170 off of eBay?

I really think this is a complete joke that I cannot simply buy a power brick…..

Apple store just said they cannot sell me one... What do I do then? So I contacted Apple's support and they couldn't source them from anywhere. Then the support team told me it was an issue for the specialists, they put me through and told me it was an issue for the sales team, they kept sending me back and forth. Currently on the phone with Amazon who have two years cover, but I cannot refund the whole item, they offered me a repair which is basically buying a new PSU, but I cannot buy one from new and they will not cover second hand on eBay.

Such a headache for what you can easily buy from any other company but Apple :/ You can easily buy them for any other model. It's so annoying that they put their own cord built, I cannot just buy my own.

Probably just going to have to sell it on eBay or send the power supply to a third party repair guy.

Right I called up 4/5 times and the last guy said he found them in stock. Shows you that it really depends on who you get on the phone to help. £125 for a frigging power brick :/ Anyways I’m gonna see if I can get the other one fixed, I can always sell the new one on eBay and get my money back.

It’s great that you can find one now. Too bad apple can’t get their act together and help the consumer with what we need that they sell.
