If you have 100% proof of working cards, please supply:

GPU Model| Manufacturer

I have found many people are after this information, but no good source of info is available. Many mid 2010 owners are looking to use the imac as a screen for a gaming PC, but there are several horror stories of cards not working as expected..:apple:

I will not provide feedback on graphic card for the moment (i will buy an ASUS GeForce GTX670 DCII TOP when it will be available in France)

Nevertheless, i already use the displayport of my motherboard (ASUS P8Z77 - V) with my iMac 27" Mid 2010.

I use this cable : StarTech.com Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort Adapter Cable - Adaptateur DisplayPort - 2 m

Hi,

yes it works fine. I use it every day with my mid2010 iMac connected to my Asus GTX670 DCII via StarTech.com Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort Adapter Cable - Adaptateur DisplayPort - 2 m.

You just have to use Cmd+F2 to activate the iMac as external screen
