imac 27 2020 model 20,1 i5 3.3ghz radeon pro 5300 overheating ???

it is about the following imac

imac 20.1 from 2020 i5 10600 3.3ghz radeon pro 5300 with 4gb ram



The gpu radeon pro 5300 overheats when launching graphic intensive applications


temperature read out with app tg pro.

GPU idle temperature: 43 centigrade

watch video on youtube: 65 centigrade


and now to the problem.

as an an example.

start unigine heaven benchmark and start a benchmark

the gpu temperature reaches 97-105 degrees and is in the red area

cpu temp is normal 45 celsius and have no problem

The fan spins at 2700 rpm.

could someone of you test it with an imac 20.1 and unigine heaven benchmark, if this is normal

You apply a heavy workload on the GPU and expect it to cool-down?
That's illogical.

no, not cool down but not reach critical temperature of 102 centigrade....
