What do you think will come out in Fall? I'm in the same boat, trying to decide if I should bite now or wait.

If you can wait, I would wait. It's only 2-3 months until October. If you need a computer now, buy now.

I can wait as my 9 year old Mac Pro is still chugging along. The only refresh I see happening though is with the 21" being updated to retina.

Most likely some kind of refresh featuring updated cpu or video card at the low end. At the end Apple actually introduces a brand new iMac design.
You don't want to be kicking yourself for not waiting if something great comes out.

I would also suggest waiting till fall for the "gen 2" of the 5k to come out. Plus with OS X El Capitan utilizing Metal now will be even better with a brand new GPU.
There are a few gaming studios working to add Metal support to their games. Once more and more do that, there will be a pretty big jump in gaming performance on Mac's in OS X.

Running i7 with the 290 and anecdotally my experience with Elite Dangerous at 4K is as smooth as ice. It even runs at 5K which is kind of over the top but for best performance I keep it at 4k. X-Plane 10 at 4K is also amazing.
