iMac 27" Assembled in Ireland.

Living in Sweden, Europe. My iMac 2013 was assembled in Ireland.
I got a bit surprised to see that my friends iMac 2013 came from China.
Ordered one for my wife also and it is sent from Ireland just as mine was..

Howcome some come from China to Europe?

Apple uses multiple factories, some in China, some else where it seems.

Mine's assembled in the US (both 21.5" and 27" Haswells, both are also near-maxed out BTOs. The only thing I didn't max out was the storage: 256GB in 21.5" and 512GB in 27").

Wow, isn't it super cold up there?

A lot of stuff that I use is Swedish (mostly IKEA and Volvo )
