Hi well after I replaced the hard drive with a SSD I copied back everything to the imac via carbon copy cloner. The SSD was seemingly corrupt and now I cant boot at all even from a CD. I did try resseting pram and nvram. I even took out regular ram and put it back in. Single user mode just wont start I keep getting a white screen. Its like it just ignores my keyboard commands.😕

What should I do ?

Can you boot from the old HDD in an enclosure connected via USB or Firewire, if possible?

That's one possibility.

Another suggestion is to put your iMac back the way it was with the old drive and see what happens.

You could have a bad ssd, or something else could be wrong.
