Hi all!

I want to create this setup :

iMac 27" Late 2009 support second screen?

You can add nearly any type of screen. Your iMac has one mini-DisplayPort out port. You can use a HDMI, DisplayPort, mini-DisplayPort, DVI, Dual-Link DVI, or VGA display with it, pending that you use the correct adapter.

I'm not sure what screen you're referring it. In the image in the first post, the screen on the right is an HP. I do not know the maker of the screen on the left.

Dell U2312HM, I found it in google.. :)
But it's 23" and no 1440p...that is problem? 27" 1440p is better ?

It is problem a 1920x1080 or better 2k ? With iMac 27 ?

That display will work. I recommend using a mini-DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable to connect the two.

Yes this screen support display port connection.. :)
1920x1080
Or
2560x1440?

IPS Panels...

When using the DisplayPort, you will be able to use the external Dell screen at its full Resolution.

Hello again!

Can you tell me about resolution? Looks good 24" display next to iMac 27" or I need 27" display?
