iMac 27" Late 2012 -- Can I use July 2012 Macbook Pro RAM?

I just upgrade my July 2012 Macbook Pro to 16GB and I have the 2x2GB sticks lying around.

Can I use these in my Late 2012 27" iMac to bump it to 12GB? Someone said on a different threat that these machines share the same RAM, but I wanted to be sure.

Yes, you can. They both use DDR3 PC3-12800 RAM.
