Imac 27" late 2012 worth buying?

This weekend I upgraded from 2012 to 2015 iMac. If you can get 2012 for $200-300 then, go for it, especially if someone upgraded HDD to SSD; otherwise, save the money and buy something newer. It looks like the one you linked is listed for $700 Australian Dollars. I would spend additional $300 and get brand new M1 Mac mini and monitor of your preference and you will have a system for many years to enjoy. if new Mac mini is too, much look for a used one.

With a price tag less than 200$, I would jump to any offer of fully working iMac 27" 2012.
That seems like a lot for a 2012. I have a 2012 27 with upgraded 500gb SSD drive and memory and just purchased the maxed out 2021 24 iMac. So far, I have seen little performance gains except for faster wireless on the 2021. Surprised that there were not significant gains. Apple is only offering me $140 for trade in, so may end up keeping the 2012 and sending the 2021 back.
