Is the lates iMac Late 2015 with a SSD drive fully quiet in Idle, or can you hear the fan running at it's 1200rpm default value in a fully qieut room?

Sitting close to it in a quiet room you might be able to hear it. Hardly noticeable though.

I find my iMac whisper quiet, but then my wife tells me I'm deaf as a clam :p

I have ordered an iMac from the Apple Online Store.

The fan is quiet, BUT the fan is always running and you can hear it continuously. :( The fan is very annoying I shipped the iMac back to Apple. I'm hoping the iMac 2016 will get a quieter and better cooling system.

At idle I don't notice any fan noise. I have good hearing and my 5k model is maxed out in terms of spec.
