imac 27" stability on desktop qn

Hi,

Just want to know how stable the 27" is on the desktop. Looking at the pics, the stand doesnt seem that wide and i wonder how easily this thing could get knocked over.

I have never had an imac... only macbook pros.

Any experiences so far?

Seems stable enough for me. But then again I don't go walking into my iMac 😛

The stand on my i7 27" iMac is perfectly stable on my desk even when I bumped into the desk. I would not worry about it.

The center of gravity on the iMacs is such that you would have to knock it pretty hard in order to get it to topple over.
If you are really worried, you could always bond your iMac to a surface using 3M double sided foam tape. 🙂
