so I hope to purchase a 27in 2.93ghz iMac this week and was wondering if anyone had seen any Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals where I could save a couple of bucks.

I know Apple will have a sale but with Tax I don't think it will be that much cheaper. I've looked at Amazon for a Black Friday deal but haven't found anything yet. Any place else I should look?

Will I be more likely to find iMac deals on Black Friday or on Cyber Monday?

    Thanks amigos :)

    iMac on Amazon

I bought a 27 Inch iMac on Amazon yesterday, it had a $60 discount and no sales tax, plus you get 30 days with it without paying a 15% restock fee. Apple usually only provide $100 tops on their black friday deals and amazon will match the price (I think). So I recommend just getting it from them.

I got a refurbed 27" imac for $1699 with the 1GB graphics...but its 2.8 quad. Straight from apple.

Worked out to still be cheaper, even with tax, than any other place online for the same specs.

At least in the U.S., you get hit with the restock fee at Amazon if you open the computer. Pretty obvious too, with the stickers they put on the packaging by Apple in the inside:

Computers that were purchased from and have not been opened may be returned for a refund within 30 days of receipt of shipment. To return a computer, visit our Online Returns Center.

Computers purchased from which have been opened may be returned, but are subject to a partial refund of 85% of the sale price. Computers may not be returned more than 30 days from the date of shipment receipt.

All computers sold by are supported by the computer's manufacturers. In the unlikely event a computer appears to be defective, please contact the customer support network for the computer manufacturer to have it serviced under warranty.
