I am thinking about getting the maxed out top of the line iMac for Creative Suite 4 from adobe. Ill be using Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Flash, and Dreamweaver.

Is this mac capable of running these smoothly?

I think if a 2.5ghz macbook pro can run it a 3.06ghz could run it, although I recommend getting a pro line mac for CS4 im not sure what other people think, also whatever machine you get max out the ram, it will be way better, also get a external hard drive so the .psd and other stuff wont clam your hard drive, I recommend lacie, the drives are seagate so theyll be great.

For consumer usage, even the Macbook can run CS4 smoothly. Pro usage will work fine on the top of the line iMac... a Mac Pro would be nice if this is your job.
