iMac 3.06GHz Intel Core i3/ music

Hi i just bought a iMac 21.5-inch 3.06GHz Intel Core i3 (My first MAC!!) will i have any troble running ableton live or logic??? and any opinions on what would be better in general ableton or logic??? plus should i go ahead and upgrade my ram from 4gb to 8gb??? thank you for any help!!!!!

You shouldn't have any problems running either of those applications.

Get the computer first and try it out, then decide if you need the RAM. An 8gb upgrade is around $100 so not a big expense compared to the computer you just bought.
