iMac 5K 2017 - External display refresh rate

I just purchased a Samsung CRG9 49` ultra wide monitor.

Does anybody know if there is possible to run 5120x144 @ 120 hz with external display from a iMac 5K 2017?

I would like to use 120 hz instead of 60 hz.

I have the same monitor, you'll need an eGPU.
