I was thinking of get iMac 5k but sure if really good for mac and iOS programming?I want to know if anyone has this type of iMac 5k and would this be good for photoshop to?

The screen is gorgeous and the CPU is powerful, so it will handle anything you throw at it. Depending how much photoshop work you'll be doing, the mid range to the upper range with the m290 or m295 should be more then adequate for photoshop

I plan to make icons and i think i going to make guy for my apps so i hope that works. Are i7 faster then i5?

Yes, its faster but I think it all depends on your tasks, that is you're using safari, you'll not notice the speed. Running VmWare and have a number of virtualized sessions going, yes you'll notice. I'm not entirely sure that you'll notice the difference in running PS to make icons in all honesty. Perhaps someone else more knowledgeable in that area will chime in.

So if i went with a fusion drive that has 1tb that mean i only have 32gb of cash drive would that be a lot of space for Xcode and tools?

Only 24Gb and probably not nearly enough for your apps you need a 2TB fusion or a 256SSD and external storage.

It should be more than adequate for programming; my 2011 27 inch iMac works well with Xcode 7.

One good authority on photoshop work is Lloyd Chambers' http://macperformanceguide.com/blog/2015/20151123_1052-iMac5K-why-64GB-matters.html web site. He offers benchmarks and other evidence that speak for themselves. He makes a point that 32 GB of memory would be insufficient for his photoshop needs and describes why he uses 64GB RAM on his new iMac( and shows the Activity Monitor screen with Photoshop running to substantiate it )
