Imac a bit slower

My mac is not loading certain sites fully, I'm getting the blue ? instead of pics.

I reset Safari and that has helped a bit. Any ideas or suggestions to help remedy this. TIA.

BTW, logging out and then logging back in solves the problem temporally.
 
By resetting, do you mean, you cleaned the cache?

Maybe repairing permissions will help.

Also have you got a link or two to the websites you were referring to?

There is also Onyx for running some maintenance scripts, that could solve this issue.

By "blue ?", do you mean this:

Don't worry, I see the blue ? there too, and quite often.

The users have either just put in a broken link, which could miss something, or the picture isn't were it was, when the posts were made.

PS: I just saw, that the thread is from 2004, so the pictures in there might have been long gone.

Oh!! Your right, I should of saw that. BTW I just turned off my modem and then turned it back on and that looks like thats made a HUGE difference. Make sense?
 
Sometimes every machine needs a good restart, even a modem.
I do it once a week, when some connection problems occur.
 
It's doing it again, this time it just won't let me open Google or Yahoo, then I get the spinning beach ball?
