I have an intel white core duo imac. It's a few years old now. as of late it's been acting slow, time machine sometimes hangs, it freezes for long periods of time, sometimes takes forever to shut down and sometimes doesnt shut down at all. I verified permissions on the internal and this is what i got:

I tried using onyx and diskwarrior to fix things, but nothing has worked so far. the computer is running fine at the moment. when I tried to repair permissions this is what I got:

next post will have repair results

my friend says my hdd is going bad, and knowing that it's an imac, it's not as simple as swapping hdds, i called apple and they said it would cost me $400. My next course of action will be booting from the leopard disk and doing disk utility from there, and then friday when snow leopard comes out, I'll see if that fixes anything. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I do a clean install of leopard before snow leopard? do any of those errors point towards hdd failure?
