iMac advice

I just bought my iMac and am completely new to the world of Apple (I have used windows all my life). Need to know if iMacs have both wireless and ethernet (LAN) NICs built in so if my router (I have a linksys combo router) have both wireless and LAN support I can use wireless mode of communication and not string an ether net cable as I have done now.

As you can see here, the iMac is able to communicate with your router wirelessly.

Just use DHCP in the Airport network settings, connect to the router and voila.
