Im on El Capitan 10.11.6 and I have my Energy Saver setting same as I always have in attached pic. Twice now in the last week, my computer is completely shut off in the morning. Have to power it back on. Never done that before. Any ideas? Anyway I can check to see whats making it shutdown?

Have you experienced a short power outage or surge? That might explain it. Try turning on the STart up automatically after power failure and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks. That thought did cross my mind and that did happen a few weeks back but when it did, the microwave and oven clocks go off and need to be reset and they have been fine. So I dont think thats it.
