    Correction: 24" has slightly bigger vertical resolution than full HD:

    24" = 1920x1200
    20" = 1680x1050

    1080p (full HD) = 1920x1080
    720p = 1280x720

    so in that case, the 20inch has 720p+
    and the 24inch has 1080p-full hd
    right?

    Yes, and 24" has a bit more pixels than full HD :)

    Didn't know that. Glad I went for the 24", I love the screen. Just need the wife to stop touching the screen/glass. I swear all girls do that, no offense.

    It's got more pixels vertically than 1080p because 1080p is a 16:9 aspect ratio.

    The Mac's have a 16:10. Those extra pixels are necessary to show true 1920x1080.

    Haha. And of course you don't want to mention it, for fear it should turn into a 'thing.'
