iMac and PS4?

I currently own I believe a 2013 i mac, it has the two thunderbolt ports on the back, 27 inch. If I purchase this device, http://www.kanex.com/xd# will it allow me to connect my ps4 to my iMac? I have seen it work on youtube with the mini display ports, but not sure if it works with the thunderbolt as well. Thank you!

No. The signal must be Thunderbolt, not Mini DisplayPort to work.

You can do over USB 3 using an extreme cap u3

I have a Mac mini with a thunderbolt display and remote play works surprisingly well, even over wifi. I'm thinking of moving both the mini and PS4 to wired connections soon to give it an even better boost. Give it a shot I think you'll be surprised!
