Hey all,

I'm thinking of getting an iMac and would like to make it antiglare. Has anyone successfully done this? If so, ti would be great if you could share a picture of it applied, and include the brand you used.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I have already read this thread but it's not much help. It would be great if someone posted a picture of their antiglare iMac.

i have an anti-glare iMac...but it's a 2011 that has the front glass removed. I also have a newish 2015 iMac. There is still some glare on the current iMacs, but it's not near as bad as the old 2011 originally was. From what I've read nobody really likes the films. You might try a monitor hood as it will cut out reflections from the side and above (but not light from behind you that hits the screen directly). You can also make sure your monitor isn't set too bright. Since I print a lot of digital photos I have my monitor set at about 120 cd/m2 which is about 6-7 blocks up in brightness on the new iMacs.
