iMac Application Install DVD

Hey guys, I just got my 27" iMac.
So far LOVE IT. No problems whatsoever, flawless 🙂

Anyway, I never actually had to do this, but you know those 2 DVDs that come with all Macs?
When you do a fresh install, does it also install iLife, or would you have to buy iLife later?

Just wondering, I really hope I never have to actually do this.

The restore DVDs would restore everything.

Disk 2 contains iLife. The two DVDs allow you to do a fresh install with all the applications and utilities you got when you first powered on your iMac.

Mine didn't lol.
I use iWork.
Well, mostly just pages. Since all I really need to do is print it.

In the past they did but that was only the test drive ( demo version ) I no my first gen Macbook did.

No Macs come "with" Word. No PCs either.

If you need Word (or really Office) its $100 for the Home edition.
