Ok.... I tried searching, but I couldn't find anything regarding the iMac and the slowness of booting into windows... All I found/saw was for the Mac Pro...

I have the 1st gen iMac and I have installed bootcamp... And it has the same problem of a slow startup into windblows...

Now.... The fix that's floating around to fix the SATA drivers.. Will this work on my iMac as well, or is this only for the Mac Pro's??

If there's a different fix for the iMac, can someone point me to it? I've tried searching here and I've tried Google... I only see Mac Pro fixes...

Thanks!!

Can anyone help me out with this??

Or am I wrong to say that the SATA problem doesn't exist on the iMac?

I have only heard about this issue on the Mac Pros. (And that was fixed with the 9/19 Firmware update).
