iMac CD or C2D

Hi guys, I'm begining to contemplate my 2nd Mac purcahse. My 12" PB has served me well but I think it will be due an upgrade soon. Since my employers are kind enough to give me a quite reasonable Toshiba laptop I'm thinking I would get more productivity out of an iMac.

I've recently seen as much as 35% off the retail price for the 20" Core Duo on Apple's refurb site. Do you I should snap a deal like this up or save for a few months more and get the Core 2 Duo?

Will be used for light creativity and general iLife apps.

If you want use that money to save for more RAM and upgrade to a C2D when your iMAc starts getting old C4D will be out soon 😀

I don't think it's a huge difference between the CD and C2D on the iMac.

I'd snag the deal now and use the savings to pimp out the CD iMac... more RAM, etc.
