imac coming on 24th with earnings announcement

This thread's degenerated... I can't wait until the end of the month so we can start a whole new series of threads when Apple doesn't announce a new iMac. ;)

Or a series of threads from people complaining that the new iMac doesn't have features like
1. Touch Screen
2. Retina Screen
3. No screen
4. No keyboard - direct connect to brain
5. Cupholder
6. USB 5.0
7. LTE
8. TV Tuner

etc.
 
Apple DOES NOT release products once they announce the date of their earnings calls.

If the iMac is coming with Mountain Lion, it will be AFTER the 24th, not before or during it.

not true.. apple went out their way to affirm that the they were referring to the mac pro next year not the imac which means that the imac is most definitely coming this year at some point.. stop saying this.
 
I hope there is an update to the iMac... I'm tired of watching YouTube videos of iMacs and want my own :D... But I still need to save a bunch of money, so I can wait for few more months... it's hell, though.
 
Yes that would be great. But who told you this. Did you fly to apple headquarters and ask tim cook himself.
 
interestingly enough i check on apple store around my area some of them have zero on stock and expected on july 23 ...hmmm this doesnt really mean anything but its kinda interesting

Logically I'm aware of the other possibilities, the most likely of which is actually next week. But I still think it's better than 50/50 for Wednesday so that's where my hopes lie.

Wednesday is the only logical release date for the rest of this year.

Apple needs a new refreshed/updated product to support the launch of ML and the only thing left are desktops.

Seems Wednesday 7/25 will be a soft launch for ML along with refreshed Mac desktops.

If Apple does NOT do a soft launch on the 25th, I think that press will receive invitations this week to a small event on the 31st to launch ML and announce new redesigned desktops.

Anything later than that for desktop updates seems too close to iPhone 5/iOS 6 launch and Apple will absolutely not have those overlap.

The idea that they'd try the iOS model and release the new OS a few days before the new hardware also has some logic.

Nothing logical from Aug 1 on though.

Well, we are assuming that it will Be The same as last year. They announced osx lion at the end of the conference call (24th July) and released it the next day.

I really dot believe that they would do an event the 31 let's be real right now. Also they have redesigned before without big announcement the current design is an example of that. It's gonna be either on wenesday or October like I said many many times before apple doesn't work "logically" so let's stop speculating with no solid prove or rumor
